1. Amusement Only and No Real Money Gambling

We do not operate a real-money gambling application. Therefore, you acknowledge and agree to the following absolute conditions regarding our operations:

  • No Transferability: Past success or progression at our social casino gaming application holds no bearing on, and does not imply future success at, real-money gambling venues or applications. 2. Eligibility and Jurisdiction

3. Account Registration and Security

To fully experience the social features, save your progress, and participate in leaderboards, you may be required to register a user account. Regarding your account, you agree to the following:

  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to continually update this information to keep it accurate.
  • Account Security: You are entirely responsible for maintaining the strict confidentiality of your login credentials. You are explicitly responsible for any and all activities, actions, or purchases that occur under your account, regardless of whether you authorized them.
  • Unauthorized Access: You agree to notify DoubleDown Casino immediately of any unauthorized use of your account, suspected security breach, or compromised password. The Company cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your login information.
  • One Account Rule: You are permitted to maintain only one active account per individual. Creation of multiple accounts, "smurf" accounts, or automated accounts to manipulate daily bonuses, exploit the gifting system, or subvert the integrity of the game is strictly prohibited and will result in the immediate banning of all associated accounts.

4. Virtual Currency and In-App Purchases

DoubleDown Casino offers players the opportunity to earn, win, and optionally purchase virtual, in-game currency (such as "Virtual Chips" and "Diamonds"). The following conditions govern all virtual items and currencies within the platform:

A. Limited License: You do not legally own the Virtual Currency or any virtual goods you unlock, win, or purchase. Instead, you are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to utilize these virtual assets exclusively within the boundaries of the Services for your personal entertainment.

B. Purchases are Final: While playing the game is free, you may choose to purchase additional Virtual Currency using real money through authorized third-party payment gateways (such as the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or secure web processors). All sales and purchases of Virtual Currency are considered final, absolute, and non-refundable. The Company is not required to provide a refund for any reason, nor will you receive money or any other compensation for unused Virtual Currency when an account is closed, whether such closure was voluntary or involuntary.

C. Prohibition on External Trading: You are strictly forbidden from transferring, selling, purchasing, trading, or gifting Virtual Currency outside of the officially supported in-game mechanisms. Any attempt to engage in "real money trading" (RMT) of your virtual chips on third-party forums, auction sites, or secondary markets is a severe violation of these Terms and will lead to immediate account termination and potential legal action.

5. Code of Conduct and Prohibited Activities

To ensure a safe, fair, and enjoyable environment for our global community, you agree to adhere to strict rules of conduct. You agree that you will NOT under any circumstances:

  • Use, develop, distribute, or run any cheats, exploits, automation software (bots), hacks, mods, or any unauthorized third-party software designed to modify or interfere with the DoubleDown Casino experience or alter the Random Number Generator (RNG) outcomes.
  • Exploit any glitches, bugs, or undocumented features for personal gain or unfair advantage over other players.
  • Engage in any behavior that harasses, threatens, bullies, demeans, or abuses other players or Company staff, including through the use of the in-game chat features or social media interactions.
  • Transmit or post any content that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, racially or ethnically offensive, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or derive source code from the Services, or attempt to hack into our secure servers to access backend databases.
  • Use the platform to perpetrate any illegal activities, money laundering schemes, or fraudulent transactions.

The Company reserves the right to determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, what constitutes a violation of these rules of conduct and what disciplinary actions are appropriate, up to and including permanent account suspension.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of DoubleDown Casino—including, but not limited to, the software code, slot machine mathematics and algorithms, visual interfaces, graphics, design, logos, audio tracks, sound effects, animations, character designs, and written text—are the exclusive intellectual property of DoubleDown Interactive and its licensors. These assets are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or publicly perform any of our intellectual property without express, prior written consent from the Company.

7. User-Generated Content

Our platform may allow you to create, upload, post, or transmit content, such as profile pictures, club names, or chat messages ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant DoubleDown Casino a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and transferable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the Services. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to post this content and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party. We retain the right, though not the obligation, to monitor, edit, or outright remove any User Content at our sole discretion without notice.

8. Disclaimers of Warranty

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS FOR YOUR AMUSEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DOUBLEDOWN CASINO EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Services will meet your requirements; that the operation of the platform will be uninterrupted, totally secure, or completely error-free; or that any defects or bugs in the software will be immediately corrected. You assume all responsibility and risk for your use of the Services and your internet connectivity.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DOUBLEDOWN CASINO, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USAGE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES; (III) ANY BUGS, VIRUSES, TROJAN HORSES, OR THE LIKE THAT MAY BE TRANSMITTED TO OR THROUGH OUR SERVICES BY ANY THIRD PARTY; OR (IV) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

10. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

By using the Services, you agree that the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Terms and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and DoubleDown Casino. Any disputes relating in any way to your use of the platform shall be submitted to confidential, binding arbitration in Las Vegas, Nevada, rather than in court. You agree to waive your right to a trial by jury and your right to participate in a class-action lawsuit against the Company.
